GP_FederalAid: This feature service contains the GP_FederalAid event layer published from the Esri Roads and Highways database. This data identifies roadway segments eligible for federal funding, and is used by state DOTD staff, planners, and federal partners to support funding allocation, project tracking, compliance reporting, and long-range transportation planning. The data is created, owned, and maintained by the GIS office. GP_FederalAid is derived using a geoprocessing toolbox from the input Road and Highways events NHS, FunctionalSystem, FedAidSys1991, GP_Parish, and HighwayNumber and is updated on an annual basis. It is considered authoritative for determining the Federal Aid status of roadways. The service was published on 02/09/2026 to be used in the Federal Aid Eligibility viewer application for reference by DOTD leadership. This data is for internal use only and is not intended for public distribution. |
